The Mar Menor is a large sea water lagoon which is one of the cleanest, safest and warmest waters of the Med. Numerous wonderful beaches can be found within a 20 minute drive of the resort offering a safe place for children to swim and play. There are many beach cafes offering ice cream, snacks and cold drinks. There is also a selection of restaurants some of which sit on wooden stilts over the water of the Mar Menor.

The region benefits from an average temperature of 21c and 320 days of sunshine a year.

San Pedro del Pinatar offers a great selection of water sports including sailing, scuba diving and wind surfing. Lo Pagan is famous for its mud baths and is located not far from here.
